**Key Workers x2 - Permanent, Full Time** Housing First Rotherham x 1 Housing First Chesterfield x 1 **Could you empower somebody to gain the most from their life?** Our Housing First services in Chesterfield and Rotherham provide a secure home to people who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to other complexities, which may include mental health conditions, substance misuse or offending behaviour. The role can be challenging and is highly rewarding. To be successful, you will: - Equip our customers with personal, social, vocational and practical life skills; enabling them to take control of their life, live independently within the community and successfully manage their tenancy - Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers experience and an understanding of how to develop plans of support to overcome these - Use strengths based approaches to support individuals to realise their potential - Have a full driving license and access to a vehicle - DBS check required **Who you are**: - Have experience of supporting vulnerable people in the community and working closely with partner agencies - Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers experiences and develop plans to overcome these - Be a great communicator both verbally and in writing - Have a creative approach to problem solving - Be able to use a wide range of digital software - Great organisation and observational skills - Possess a positive "Can Do" solution focused attitude to fit in with a small team and build on the successes of this excellent service **Who we are**: At South Yorkshire Housing Association, our purpose is for our customers to settle at home, live well and realise their potential.
