**Key Workers x2 - Permanent, Full Time** Housing First Rotherham x 1 Housing First Chesterfield x 1 **Could you empower somebody to gain the most from their life?** Our Housing First services in Chesterfield and Rotherham provide a secure home to people who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to other complexities, which may include mental health conditions, substance misuse or offending behaviour. Our approach is to work with customers based on their strengths. We are looking for an individual with real commitment to supporting our customers to achieve their aspirations, goals and help them maximise their full potential. **Our Benefits** - Starting Salary: £20,601 per annum (pro-rata) plus Essential Car User allowance of £94.36 per month plus mileage expenses dependant on holding a full driving license and access to a vehicle - Working hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday may include evenings and weekends depending on needs of customers. - Generous holiday entitlement - 27 days annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays and an additional 4 SYHA days - Pension contribution - Excellent Flexible working options including Flexi Time, Condensed Hours, Part Time and job share. - Excellent benefits including: - SYHA Rewards - employee discount scheme, which offers cash back and shopping discounts. The role can be challenging and is highly rewarding. To be successful, you will: - Equip our customers with personal, social, vocational and practical life skills; enabling them to take control of their life, live independently within the community and successfully manage their tenancy - Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers experience and an understanding of how to develop plans of support to overcome these - Use strengths based approaches to support individuals to realise their potential - Have a full driving license and access to a vehicle - DBS check required **Who you are**: - Have experience of supporting vulnerable people in the community and working closely with partner agencies - Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and risks our customers experiences and develop plans to overcome these - Be a great communicator both verbally and in writing - Have a creative approach to problem solving - Be able to use a wide range of digital software - Great organisation and observational skills - Possess a positive "Can Do" solution focused attitude to fit in with a small team and build on the successes of this excellent service **Who we are**: At South Yorkshire Housing Association, our purpose is for our customers to settle at home, live well and realise their potential.
