Hydro is one of the main suppliers of aluminium extrusions committed to delivering high finish products to the automotive and engineering industries within the UK and European markets. Due to our on-going expansion, we are currently looking for a Customer Service Production Coordinator to join our fast paced manufacturing site in Bedwas, Caerphilly.

**Role Purpose**:
**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Communication with the Customer Services Manager regarding new orders.
- Provide feedback to the Customer Services Manager regarding progress of orders to enable feedback to the customer and / or external sales managers.
- Provide the Customer Services Manager with production status update for the daily plant meetings.
- On notification of new orders, plan any applicable Outwork to give our suppliers forewarning of upcoming work.
- Checking production orders from team leaders ensuring they are completed correctly and entering these orders when satisfied.
- Being aware of open production orders and chasing production when these orders are not returned on time.
- Create load labels where applicable.
- Book transport for delivery to suppliers and customers and booking transport for the return back to site where necessary.
- Chasing outwork suppliers to ensure work is completed within the planned timescale.
- Raising of outwork orders and stock transfers (to and from suppliers).
- Communication with goods inwards to notify of upcoming shipments from Outwork.
- Ensuring stock is accurate at every stage of booking.
- System housekeeping.
- Ensure focus on KPI’s.
- Help to Support the development the CRM system.
- Support in annual stock takes.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:

- Customer focused view on business operation is crucial.
- Understanding of fabrication and working with related suppliers is desirable.
- Good English skills both orally and written.
- Good level of MS office and IT competence.
- Flexible and willing to do “ad-hoc” work outside of normal office hours.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good work ethic and drive to complete work.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
