Established in 2009, G3 Remarketing t/a G3 Vehicle Auctions Limited is one of the UK’s fastest growing vehicle remarketing and disposal management specialists.

With a new purpose-built industry leading facility which launched in January 2021, the business continues to reshape the expectations of physical and online auctions. The new centre complements our existing centre, providing two professional centres within the West Yorkshire region but serving a national audience.

Due to expansion and growth we have a number of Yard Operative positions in order to strengthen our existing team.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Store and locate all vehicles on site between the yard and the auction hall
- Line and lot vehicles for auction, ensuring they are presentable for auction
- Always maintain a safe driving standard and adhere to speed limits on site
- Ensure health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard and auction hall so that near misses, accidents to vehicles and customers are prevented
- Carry out any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met.
- Manage, control, and monitor vehicle movement on site.
- Be responsible for jump starting vehicles where required.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and work areas at all times
- Ensuring upkeep of all tools, property, and services
- Working closely with Management, Transport, and other departments always taking written and verbal instructions.

**OTHER TASKS**
- Unlock / Lock facility buildings as required.
- Be prepared to work overtime when circumstances / operations dictate.
- To promote equal opportunities and diversity in service delivery.

- To participate in the continuous improvement of service delivery ensuring that policies and procedures comply with legislation and regulatory requirements.
- To respect the need for confidentiality, when processing customer data.
- Other duties as may be required from time to time

**PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES/DIFFICULTIES**
- Remain accustomed or open to working in all-weather conditions
- Have good organisational & communication skills
- Work under pressure to ensure smooth running of site and auction
- Ability to deal with demanding customers

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience within the automotive industry, would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience of using handheld electronic devices and computers is essential but training will be provided on using company specific programmes
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points is essential due to the movement of vehicles around the site

- Flexibility, as this job may require you to work extra hours or occasional weekends and bank holidays depending on volume.
