**FM Accommodation Support Officer**

Grade 6 - Temporary Facilities Management Support Officer x 2

Lancashire County Council has 2 exciting opportunities for the role in the role of Temporary Facilities Management Support Officer in the Accommodation Team for 12 months. This is a small dynamic team who support delivery of Facilities Management Accommodation projects across Lancashire. The positions are based at County Hall in Preston City Centre. The post holders will visit numerous sites in a variety of locations on a regular basis in the course of their day-to-day work and will be required to have their own vehicle for use at work.

The specific requirements of the role include:

- Provide technical business support to all elements of the Facilities Management Accommodation team.
- Attend different sites when required to oversee contractors to ensure work is carried out to the required standard and time frame
- Support with the planning and preparation for relocation of services, and preparation of buildings for closure.
- Proactively raise risks and issues.
- Maintain building plans and procure essential equipment as required to ensure building compliance.
- Produce building operation manuals and organise training events.
- This is a fast paced and challenging environment and the ability to organise and prioritise workload is essential.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and also as part of a team is required.
