**JOB ROLE**:Autism Support Worker

**LOCATION**: Wyboston, MK44

**SALARY**: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour

**HOURS**:40 per week

**SHIFTS**: 07:30AM - 19:30PM

**About**Cranwell Court**

Cranwell Court supports seven people with Autism, we help to enable the people we support to structure their time; build relationships and establish a balance between activities, self-care, work and leisure, as appropriate to their individual needs. We support by working with and not for and we use our experience to help people on their journey towards greater independence and a fulfilling life.

Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan. Each person discusses their likes, interests, goals and aspirations with their Key Worker.

Cranwell Court is located in a quiet village of Wyboston in Bedfordshire. This extensive refurbished property has five spacious en-suite bedrooms and 2 studio apartments. Communal areas consist of a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and large garden.

**As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including**:

- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

**Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development**
