The successful Stock Controller will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective, safe and tidy Warehouse as well as managing the distribution operations and ensure the operation is H&S compliant at all times. You will have a passion for stockmanagement logistics and be keen for a challenge in a growing operation.

Page Personnel have partnered with a leader in the FMCG distribution industry. Due to their continued success they are looking to add to their stock controller team based out of their Reading warehouse which services the south of the UK.

**Description**

As Stock Controller based in Reading you will be directly reporting into the Stock Manager. You can expect to have the following responsibilities:

- Ensuring that stock is in the correct place at the right time to deliver customer orders including movement and manual handling of stock including at the pick face and transferring from the pick face to cages/cages to stillages
- Accurately store and record information and complete regular stock takes
- Carry out operational admin processes including Goods In, Logistics, Replenishment & processing in line with SOPs
- Understand trend reporting and KPI measures, on behalf of the stock & admin to understand themes & share with the operation
- Monitor discrepancies and investigate identified stock problems
- Report any issues that may result in unbudgeted costs being incurred

**Profile**

The successful Stock Controller will have a strong background in inventory management and warehousing, along with the following:

- Someone who is strong willed, confident and determined to succeed
- Previous experience within FMCG environment is highly**desirable**:

- Experience in Frozen/Chilled/Ambient warehouses is highly**desirable**:

- SAP Knowledge **essential**:

- MHE trained is **essential**

**Job Offer**
