**Commis Waiter - The Lanesborough**

One of London’s most iconic 5 Star heritage hotels are seeking a Commis Waiter with extremely high standards that enjoys working in a luxury environment.

**Benefits**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Be courteous to all hotel guests and colleagues in line with the high standards of the hotel
- Prepare the room and stations prior to each service
- Ensure sufficient silver, glass and china to run each service is prepared
- Be fully conversant with the “A la Carte” and “Du Jour” menus, items, presentation accompaniments and availability
- Take orders and bring them to the kitchen and cross orders when they are picked up
- Collect each first course and any following courses for each table according to what has been ordered
- Collect all sauces and appropriate condiments for each station
- Continually restock all equipment and food items required for each service
- Supervise the handling of equipment and ensure breakages are minimised
- Count all dirty linen, separate the damaged and collect fresh linen prior to each service and restock the stations
- Make sure the department is presentable and always kept immaculate
- Ensure each piece of equipment is cleaned in accordance with the standards and schedule
- Notify the Restaurant Management with any maintenance requirements

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a 4 or 5 Star fine dining restaurant
- Experience working with Micros system preferred
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- The ability and flexibility to work shifts is essential
