Quality Governance Improvement Facilitator | Governance | Band 5 dependant on experience | Solihull, Birmingham | Full Time Spire Parkway has an exciting opportunity for a clinical governance facilitator to join their team on a permanent basis. Spire ParkwayHospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, "Staff treated patientswith compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers." Duties and responsibilities: Under thedirection of the Governance Manager, you will take an active role in providing guidance and support on clinical governance and patient safety across the Hospital. This will include supporting all clinical governance and patient safety activities within theHospital, providing assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical standards. You will challenge existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions are incorporated into Hospital Plans and are implemented. Who we're looking for: To be responsiblefor the delivery and development of the hospital's audit and effectiveness program, ensuring programs are focussed on the key areas for quality improvement. To undertake independently and support staff in quality improvement activity utilising recognised methodologies.To support the Clinical Governance Manager in incident management and investigation, working with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely and accurate reviews. To work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to develop robust improvement plans inresponse to various clinical governance intelligence and oversee the implementation into practice. To facilitate the sharing of learning plans with relevant teams across the hospital, utilising electronic systems to track and evidence action plan completion;implementing checks to gain assurance on the effectiveness of the actions taken. To write comprehensive reports in line with the Spire's Governance Process and as directed by the Clinical Governance Manager. To provide effective management of corporate andlocal policies, including developing and maintaining tracking systems, ensuring timely reviews and quality assurance. To manage the process of dissemination and review of NICE guidance and best practice guidelines, maintaining tracking systems, writing compliancereports and ensuring audits are routinely scheduled where necessary.
