Procurement Executive

The role reports into the Procurement Ops Manager and forms an integral part of the overall Sopra Steria (and its Joint Ventures) Procurement Team. The role will provide support to the Procurement Team in maintaining the daily reporting requirements of thefunction as well as own develop and progress various procurement related activities, such as supplier risk monitoring, savings tracking, etc.

You are expected to have a working knowledge of procurement best practice, P2P/ERP systems, procurement tools and techniques including but not limited to data analysis and manipulation and be able to work across a varied range of day-to-day activities &tasks.

**What you will be doing**:

- Working with the Procurement Ops Manager to maintain & develop Sopra Steria’s supplier assessment and onboarding tools, including new users, first line support, reviewing reporting and acting on outstanding actions, set up and run bespoke events for businessstakeholders.
- Interrogate and run regular and ad hoc spend reporting
- Take ownership for and provide support to the Team for Procurement’s supplier risk monitoring and management processes and tools
- Help support activity to review and progress supplier compliance under the headings of sustainability, social value, and financial compliance, using external tools and processes
- Regular cadence of reporting on supplier compliance to code and policy engagement with, and reporting on, SMEs and diverse suppliers
- Supporting the Ops Manager in the implementation of the Social Value Strategy
- Monitoring, reporting, and tracking Procurement savings on a monthly basis
- General procurement enquiries relating to Purchase orders and invoice queries
- Administration of Procurement’s supplier and contracts databases, including reporting upon contract status, ensuring databases are up to date, etc
- Maintenance and development of Procurement’s management information Power BI dashboard
- Monitoring and seeking solutions to queries received in the Procurement Mailbox.

- Able to demonstrate a good level of commercial awareness
- A team player who is experienced working in a challenging and demanding environment
- Ability to execute and deliver against targets and objectives within a busy working environment
- Ability and experience of solving day to day business problems
- Experience of working in a complex organisation
- Good verbal and written communicator, who presents the Procurement team in a collaborative, professional and credible manner
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Competent in Excel/VBA and Power BI Reporting techniques
- Effective communicator
- Self-disciplined and able to deliver whilst working flexibly
