**A day in the life of an Ascent Business Co-ordinator**

As Business Co-ordinator you will be responsible to the Business Manager and provide business and training support to staff and trainees at RAF Shawbury.

You will need to be a self-motivated team player who is prepared to be flexible in undertaking a variety of tasks as required on a daily basis.
- **Safety and Assurance**
- Resulting in no avoidable loss of life or injury to first, second or third parties as a result of any aspect of Ascent Flight Training Aviation or Ground Operations
- Undertake Health and Safety related tasks to support the Ascent SEMCO and uphold adherence to the Health, Safety & Environmental Polices and responsibilities
- **People**
- Champion diversity and inclusion, and be a role model for Ascent values focusing on individual development
- **Customer**
- Effective customer service and relationship management across a range of stakeholders/partners/staff and trainees.
- Uphold partnering behaviours and be able to build relationships easily.
- **Financial**
- Maintain accurate records to support the BM/GM in managing the onsite budget
- **Performance** - Be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Purchasing, expenses, booking travel and supporting HR requests from Bristol hub as required.
- Maintaining and conforming to correct policy and procedures.
- Manage the induction programme for new staff and student arrivals
- Delivering H&S Briefs for all building users.
- Maintaining accurate training and business records and delivering on time.
- Data control - manage TMIS, data privilege and SharePoint requests
- Communications liaison for site.
- Quality information assurance steward, ensure sites are compliant and support audits/visits
- Assisting the General Manager and Business Manager with ad hoc projects.
- Accurate minute taking as required.

**What will make you successful?**

You will already have an understanding and experience of a business/training co-ordinator role and/or delivery within private/commercial sector. You will thrive under pressure and have the ability to work with stakeholders across all levels coupled with an ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You will certainly have strong communication skills.

You will love working in an environment where you have a high throughput of varied daily tasks and ad hoc projects. Have a passion for customer service and enjoy dealing with trainees and staff daily. You will understand the importance of being able to work accurately and efficiently in situations that can often be pressured in both time and resource.
