Senior Project Manager

**Objectives for the Role**:

- Ensure successful end-to-end delivery of mid
- to large-sized projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Coach and mentor Project Managers focusing on building project-related skillsets and preparing them to execute on larger and more complex projects.
- Oversee strategic programs and projects for large, complex clients to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of all projects as well as facilitate account growth and build relationships.
- Manage multiple projects through all phases to support the implementation of client solutions.
- Identify risks and put in place contingencies to deliver assigned goals
- Lead and direct the project team to remain on schedule and on budget.
- Coordinate and communicate cross-team, cross-project and cross-programme dependencies and risks.
- Manage change requests and their impact on project schedules.

**Responsibilities (once at full competence)**:

- Primarily lead mid
- to large-sized projects and/or programs of increased complexity in terms of number of streams, geographical locations or client stakeholders
- Support projects across all professional services areas, including: Outsourced assessment, customised assessment and customised reporting; Ppeople insight solutions such as talent audits using high-potential or mobilise; training and enablement
- Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, controlling and closing projects in accordance with approved timelines and budgets
- Create project or programme plans, identify and manage risk, perform change management, regularly communicate project status
- Build client relationships through better understanding of organizational structure, industry, key stakeholders
- Support business development by identifying growth opportunities and providing project management expertise
- Develop metrics to track project efficiency; identify and execute against areas of improvement
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders and team members in order to effectively manage projects.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- Experience managing large sized or complex projects with client facing responsibility.
- Experience having delivered projects across all professional service areas
- Expertise with project management processes, systems and tools
- Understand the requirements in order to define project scope, develop schedules, create project plans, manage resource allocation, communicate status and manage projects from initiation to closure.
- Able to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget, upholding meticulous attention to detail even under pressurised situations.
- Project management qualifications (e.g. in Prince 2, LSS or Agile)
- Business level English language
- Proficiency in Salesforce
