**Job role - Dry stack / forklift operative**

**Location - Portchester, Fareham**

**Role type - Full time permanent**

**Salary £23,000 - £28,000 OTE**

**Tickets that are a must and some that are desirable**

**Forklift - Reach or Counterbalance - Must have**

**Slingers/banksman/signaller - Would be preferable to have but not needed as we are able to train you.**

**Some of the key responsibilities for this role will be..**

**Lifting and machinery duties**

Operating forklifts and dry stack moving a huge range of different boats around the site and in and out the dry stack and loading and unloading these vessels onto the dry stacks.

Slinging and banking - You will be moving a large range of heavy equipment and boats around a boatyard.

Carrying out basic maintenance task in and around the yard.

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus there are different pay bands for different skill levels and you can get bonuses once you have progressed your skills.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Portchester, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred) using forklifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
