The **UK Early Talent Specialist** provides dedicated support to early talent relationship management, recruitment and employer branding strategy. In this role, you will be required to establish and build collaborative and influential partnerships with Labcorp leaders, supervisors, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Global Talent Management teams to understand internal early talent hiring and talent development needs across lab operations. You will also be required to establish and build collaborative and influential partnerships with external faculty and staff across high school, community and technical colleges as well as traditional universities to identify unique partnership opportunities, maintain an on campus presence and ongoing student engagement.

**Please note, this role is suitable for remote working.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leads campus ambassador training initiatives; including lab management level trainings, creates toolkits (talking points, external presentations, communications, etc.), coach’s regional campus leads and Labcorp representatives in preparation for their university events
- Designs innovative events and campus activities to attract and engage students interested in or pursuing careers in life sciences. Influences our campus partners to sponsor/host and promote our events. Establishes event goals and objectives, pays close attention to the student experience, and measures/evaluates/follows up on all event outcomes.
- Leads branding activities around recruitment - designs creative campaigns to engage our target student population and stays current with trends in student engagement, technology platforms and tools
- Effectively communicates early talent strategy with leadership, lab staff and HR Business Partners
- Provides leadership communications - manages and selects campus speakers, provides prep calls, leads introductions during speaking engagements with students and completes any follow up from event outcomes
- Develops and maintains an effective early talent related network including career services, high school, community/technical college/university faculty, internal talent acquisition teams and recruiting industry partners
- Retains high level of business acumen to represent all business lines across Labcorp
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the early talent relations process and adheres to agreed upon process.

**Education/Qualifications**:

- BS Degree or equivalent

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous university relations, early talent or lab operations recruiting experience is preferred
- Knowledge of or experience working in a lab preferred
- Experience of working in a matrix preferred
- Attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills are critical to this position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
- Ability to build and manage effective relationships with company and external (i.e., community/campus) personnel.
