**Post**: Sports Centre Cleaner

**Based at**:High School of Dundee, Mayfield Campus, Arbroath Road

**Responsible to**: Facilities and Operations Operative

**Objective**:To provide professional cleaning service to the School Sports Centre, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained.

**Hours of Work**: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 7pm. All year round.

**Rate of pay**:£12.21 per hour

**Daily duties include**:
1. Sweeping and mop all designated areas.

2. Vacuuming designated areas

3. Ensuing vacuum cleaners are emptied on a regular basis and all cleaning equipment is kept clean.

4. Cleaning all surfaces, ledges and counter tops

5. Emptying all bins and replace bags.

6. Cleaning toilets as appropriate

7. Replenishing hand towels and toilet tissue as appropriate

8. Certain areas may also be required to be polished and/or buffed on a regular basis.

9. Deep clean areas as required.

The above list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive. The cleaner will be required to undertake other duties and responsibilities as and when required which will be in keeping with the nature of the job, which requires a level of flexibility.
