Records & Data Compliance Coordinator

Venator are currently recruiting for a Records and Data Compliance Coordinator to join the Records and Compliance team at their Global Head Quarters in Wynyard.
To organize, maintain and deliver day to day document control and record management processes and systems within the Records Management Compliance Centre of Excellence which determines Venator’s continued legal and regulatory compliance to records management requirements both within the company and the countries in which we operate.
**Job responsibilities include**:
- All duties are to be carried out at all times in compliance with all Venator Corporate EHS, SOX and business conduct policies and guidelines.
- Maintain the day-to-day records management processes and systems in order to deliver a robust service to all sites providing a standardised approach to information systems and controlled documentation.
- Maintain the flow of documents and records into the records management systems in a standardised and controlled way which reflects Venator system needs and standards, country laws and customer needs, all to agreed service level agreements.
- Maintain and preserve controlled documents held with the records management system to ensure that the correct versions are always available and that updates are managed and approved in a timely manner.
- Meet agreed service levels, report results to management, and participate in continuous improvement team workshops, as well as providing flexible support to other team members to meet service levels overall.
- Deliver records management compliance training to new starters as part of the induction process and provide training and guidance on the use of the records management systems to all Venator sites worldwide through site visits or use of tools.
- Contribute towards the collation of metrics to assess the overall records management compliance of the world-wide Venator business.
- The job holder must hold minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English (grade 9-4) and/or qualification to diploma level/ NVQ Level 2/3.
- Alternatively, experience and knowledge gained from at least 3 years practical experience of operating and maintaining records and information services for a range of business areas.
An appreciation of ICSA guidelines for document retention is required along with an appreciation of legal records retention laws, applicable across all relevant countries
