We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a social housing provider based in the Birmingham area. They are currently looking for a HR Officer to join their Employee Relations team. This role will specialise in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Duties will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Being the key contact for a dedicated area of the business with the support of the HR Associates on all HR related enquiries
- Completing employee relations casework including flexible working requests, investigations, disciplinary and grievance
- Escalating complex casework to the HR Manager, whilst supporting the process
- Leading on the specialist area of EDI
The required skills include:
- Experience of working in a busy HR environment
- Working knowledge of Employee Relations and HR
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- CIPD qualified at Level 5 or above
