The Loftman Company is one of the UK’s leading providers of high-quality loft storage solutions for unused roof space within domestic properties. We service the whole of East Anglia, covering Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich, Colchester and anywhere in-between.

**What will you be doing?**
- Visiting customers on pre-arranged survey appointments. (Calling ahead to confirm arrival times and creating a great first impression).
- Listen to the customer; (Putting the customer’s needs above your own). Carry out the assessment then discuss the products you believe will work best for the project.
- Create a quotation for the customer. We won’t quote at the property, preferring to leave and send a follow up quotation. Our non-pressure approach. This also allows more appointments to be completed throughout the week.
- When the quotation is accepted, liaise with our operations team to secure the booking. For quotes that haven't been accepted during the week, follow up the week after and offer advice or be available to answer any questions.
- Liaise with the directors, operations staff and fitting teams weekly to help grow and support successful installations. In turn the team will work hard to maximise your growth and development with us.

**How do we work?**
- _Flexibly: _You will be self-employed and will advise the directors of your weekly availability, from this you are allocated your appointments.
- _Remotely: _You will mainly be home/field based, there is no need to visit the office, so you'll need the ability to complete your work unsupervised.
- _Geographically: _Your appointments will be allocated according to our geographic location, there is a reasonable amount of driving required to attend customers’ appointments.

**What do you need?**
- Previous sales experience in a home improvements company (preferably possess loft and carpentry knowledge of some form, construction and technical skills would be favourable)
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- A good knowledge of construction and / or home improvements.
- A very approachable and pleasant manner (you’ll be the first impression for our customers).
- Attention to detail with an ability to solve problems with a clear mind.
- Some flexibility in working hours to accommodate customer’s availability.

**Desirable (but not essential)?**
- Knowledge of construction/building standards/roof structures.
- Previous sales experience.

**Terms**:

- Full Time (Self-Employed Basis)

Salary / Commission Structure - discussed at the interview phase but (Basic £2,000 per month OTE in the region of £35,000 to £40,000PA)

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
- Mileage expenses paid

**Experience**:

- Sales: Over 2 years (preferred)
- Construction knowledge 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving License (Essential)
- Car (Essential)

Flexible Working Options Available:
