Keoghs are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join their Liverpool team. The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement.
**Key Accountabilities**
- To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement
- To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
- To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
- To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance
- Interact and communicate with clients
- Mentoring, training and to be the technical referral point for other team members
- Auditing of files, if required.
Working Hours
35 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
Primary location for this role is Liverpool Office, this is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience of dealing with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable
- Experience of the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2
- Pre-litigation experience
- Experience of handling claims outside of the MOJ and the predictive cost regime
- Experience of mentoring is desirable
- Customer service experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Ability to mentor and support new starters.
