**The Opportunity**

We’re on the lookout for an experienced PR Executive to join us as we aim to revolutionise the global optical industry.

Reporting to the Head of PR and Communication, you’ll have the opportunity to continually innovate the ways we increase exposure across all areas of the group.

You will also have direct responsibility for leading local PR opportunities for our family of independent practices across the U.K & Ireland.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

You will also be coordinating content for a range of communications for the wider business, working with a variety of internal and external contacts, using multiple forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of Hakim Group.
- Support the Head of PR & Communications to implement the PR strategy for the business
- Lead on the groups internal bi-annual magazine
- Develop relationships on behalf of our practices with key media at a local level
- Producing engaging and relevant content for target media
- Researching, writing, and distributing press releases to targeted media
- Writing content for press articles, in-house magazines, case studies and reports
- Build and co-ordinate relationships with press contacts
- Collating and analysing media coverage to distribute to wider team
- Work closely with the PR & Marketing Assistant to manage their time and ensure they are working efficiently to support the overall team
- Natural communicator - you’ll need to establish and grow key relationships with media as well as build relationships with internal teams
- Passionate - Hakim Group is a business built on passion and enthusiasm and it is important that these qualities are reflected in your attitude to work
- Previous experience in a PR role is preferred
- Excellent communication and written skills, examples of written work will be required for your interview
