**Salary**:£20,000 - £22,000 per annum pro-rata

**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join their established team of professionals within the Human Resources department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.
The main purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, professional and customer-focussed HR administrative support service within the HR Department, covering all aspects of the employee life-cycle and to be the first point of contact for all staff queries.
**The key duties of the role will include**:
- To undertake generalist HR administration duties covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to: recruitment and on boarding processes, contracts and contractual changes, CPD, generating reports and data, resignations, payroll documentation and organising staff training and events.
- To proactively advertise vacancies across a wide range of platforms including online job boards, social media, internal communications and with external agencies as required to ensure that vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
- To liaise with recruitment agencies regarding vacancies ensuring that agency spend is authorised internally and terms of business are in place with the agency prior to engagement.
- To undertake timely data entry onto the HR management information system ensuring that this is completed with integrity and updated with accurate data.
- To co-ordinate the company induction programme with the assistance of the relevant managers and the HR team.
- To build strong relationships with managers across the business ensuring that your approach is customer and solutions focussed at all times.
- To maintain employee personal files, including electronic records and associated scanning and filing, to ensure Human Resources records are accurate, organised and stored in line with GDPR requirements.
- To administer the recording of sickness absence and to work closely with the HR Advisor in regards to the implementation of the Management of Attendance Policy.
- To action the management information reports and data in connection with fixed term contracts, secondments, organisational charts, disaster recovery and probationary reviews ensuring that managers are completing any tasks associate with them in a timely manner.
- To administer the necessary information in regards to employee benefits which will include the company healthcare scheme and life assurance.
- To provide ad hoc project support to the HR team as requested by the HR Advisor or HR Business Partner.
- To support the HR team with accurate and professional note taking during HR meetings e.g. employee relations casework meetings as and when required.
- To provide administration and coordination support to the Senior Management Team and Chief Executive on employee related activities such as Employee Forum, CPD days, all employee briefings etc.
- To demonstrate knowledge and compliance with regards to GDPR and all associated Data Protection legislation. This includes having due regard for any personal data that you may come into contact with in your role which includes learners/ customers/ staff, especially when using portable or personal devices (laptops and mobile phones) or when working remotely, in order to keep data secure and confidential.
- To undertake any other duties comparable with the role as requested by a member of the leadership team.
**Essential requirements**:
- GCSE English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
- GCSE Maths (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administration or co-ordination role
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data in a professional manner
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail & ability to produce accurate written documents including statistical reports / HR metrics
- Pro-active self-starter
- Willingness to learn and committed to own development
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as good listening skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop and maintain positive working relationships
**Desirable requirements**:
- CIPD qualification
- Previous experience in HR/Recruitment
