We are working with an independent colocation, hosting, and internet service provider, based in Cheltenham. Our client provides fully certified, local data centre services to businesses and organisations across Gloucestershire and beyond.
Now seeking a Junior Software Developer to join their established IT team, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work on the full software stack (front end and back end) as a Software Developer.
The appointed Software Developer will need to have some experience, whether that is on the job or through education.
**Responsibilities**:
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Coordinate the workflow between analysts, web developers, and DevOps
- Develop data audit, archiving and restoration processes
- Participate in an energetic scrum team
- Develop and maintain a web and mobile solution as part of an agile software development team
- Perform peer to peer code reviews
- Maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to, and follow coding standards
- Communicate requirements and dependencies of components within the system
**Skills/ Experience**:
- Javascript/Typescript
- Front-end web frameworks such as vuejs/angular/svelte
- Experience of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Git version control
