Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a leading name in their market, for a Accounts and Banking Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. Based in Haywards Heath, with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office, you can go in as little oras often as it suits you
- Experience of the treasury function and bank reconciliations
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Double entry bookkeeping understanding
- Solid understanding of the banking requirements and processes
- High level of emotional intelligence and self awareness
- Have intermediate excel skills

Your NEW role will entail:

- Prepare payments for processing either cheques or electronics
- Update cashflow forecasting for the group and its subsidiaries
- Monitor approval and maintain payments of monthly money movements across the group
- Conduct daily cheque processing and cash banking processes
- Investigate and resolve queries from stakeholders across the business
- Record all recoveries and monies received onto the relevant system
- Ensure you are the key contact with the bank for operation and all accounts have sufficient funding to enable all payments are made on time
- Assist in the preparation of reporting packs for the board
- Support the other finance teams in transactional duties
- Maintaining the accounts mailbox
