**Role Summary**:
Working under the direction of the Warehouse Shift Supervisor, you would need to be an engaging and enthusiastic Forklift Driver, who will assist in all FLT operations to ensure the efficient performance is maintained to ensure the operation runs smoothly.The FLT Driver is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and will also be required to perform other warehousing duties when needed. The FLT Driver can be allocated FLT duties anywhere on-site dependant on the needs of the business.

**Hours**: Weekends -Fri
- Sat - Sun, 3 x 12-hour days, 3 x 12-hour nights

**Location**:North Yorkshire

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate powered industrial pallets trucks to load and unload materials.
- Organise orders for distribution and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.
- Checking that loads are secure.
- Perform daily equipment checks and Pre-Use Checks.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as recharging vehicle batteries, topping-up battery fluid levels, lubricating equipment and other preventative maintenance as required.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Fulfill and complete all procedural requirements and paperwork.
- Keep the warehouse, working areas and grounds clean and tidy at all times.

- Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20kg. Ability to adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand occasionally for long periods of time
- Regularly standing on and operating a powered industrial truck
- Good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
- Honest and trustworthy

- Able to maintain a flexible and positive attitude to the needs of the business.
