We are currently looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, motivated member of staff to join our team. The position is to cover maternity leave, however this could be extended. We are a small, personal 25 place nursery with a homely atmosphere.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their chosen career and is highly committed to providing the highest quality of childcare. You will need to work as part of the nursery team to plan, organise and implement appropriate activities. You will also be required to maintain accurate child development records and ensure that all children remain safe and that their welfare is promoted

**Skills and experience**:

- Level 3 practitioner with previous experience in an early years setting is required
- An understanding of how children learn, and the early learning goals
- A positive approach to your own professional development
- Good written and verbal skills - for report writing, maintaining written records and sharing information with parents and colleagues.

**Personal qualities**:

- Excellent communication skills; with children, parents/carers and colleagues
- Punctuality
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Confidence, commitment, enthusiasm and warmth - ensuring the children get the best care and start to their early learning.
- An ability to work as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
