**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with their meal requirements
- Serve customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain a tidy and organised deli environment
- Act as a role model to our less experienced staff in terms of behaviour and deli presentation standards
- Undertake our company training courses to continually improve our standards
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Have an understanding of individual dietary requirements and allergens

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in basic Maths and English
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Self initiative to see what needs done and get it done promptly
- Prior experience in a Deli department desirable
- Experience in HACCP record keeping
- A keen eye for good presentation
- Maintaining a clean work station
- Experience in portion control and minimising waste

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
