Assistant Sales and Events Co-ordinator

Nottingham Cosy Club will be an extraordinary site with 4 private dining rooms and bars. We will cater to walk in customers, breakfast, lunch and dinner bookings in the main bar and restaurant, Weddings, Celebrations and Corporate Events.
The role of the Sales Manager for Cosy Club Nottingham is to maximise and grow the pre-booked sales of all areas of the business. By identifying opportunities to increase sales from full Weddings to corporate functions, and from drinks parties and cocktail masterclasses to restaurant tables. The Sales Manager will be required to produce a strategic monthly sales plan, which is designed to meet the venues’ period sales targets ad will be signed off by the GM and the Operations Director.
The Sales Manager will pro-actively attract customers into the Cosy Club, as well as ensuring all daily enquiries through the online Reservations diary are converted.
**Key Tasks**:
- Meet all Weekly Sales Targets as clearly defined by General Manager
- Complete & Deliver all Sales Planning as and when required
- Collate the weekly activity report
- Clearly communicate pre booked sales on a weekly basis at the site Management Meeting
**Responsibilities**
- Grow and maximise pre-booked sales, through the increased sale of wedding and corporate packages, PDR bookings to including Masterclasses, dinners, drinks parties etc. ticket sales and events, bar and restaurant bookings
- Successful promotion and selling of all consumer and calendar occasions such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Birthdays and any other occasion as briefed
- Manage, train and motivate the reservationists and clearly define their role and objectives within the site
- Be the face of the sites brand, both internally and externally.
- Be creative, passionate and positive in their interaction with management and related areas of the business such as Marketing and Operations
- Work to pre-determined targets as set by the General Manager and Ops Manager
- Manage the VIP client base (by profile and value) and ensure excellent delivery of events and occasions for such clients
- Create and execute a sales plan for the site, detailing clear targets and objectives for the team
- Endeavour to always show creativity and innovation while following the processes set before you
- Attend networking events, raising the profile of the site within the local community
- Attend regular Sales Meetings / Conference calls as detailed by the Operations Director
- Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to confirmed booking
- Continually build and validate a quality database of contacts with key employers, organisations and private customers
- Manage the ResDiary to provide sales analysis and ensure accuracy of sales reporting
- Plan sales focus days to drive a sales
- Perform client show rounds and meet and greet clients, acting as the venue representative
**Salary**: £24,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
