Process Operatives

**The Classic mineral Water Company are currently recruiting for Process Operatives (Key Skilled).**

Established in 1948, The Classic Mineral Water Company is a privately owned business who manufacturer PET bottles of Spring Water, Flavoured Spring Water and Soft Drinks. The business has grown substantially over the last 2 years and continues to go from strength to strength.

**Position**: Process Operatives - To include label operators, filler operators and blower operators.

**Location**: Lurgan

**Reporting to**: Shift Supervisor

**Hours of work**: 39 hours per week, 12-hour shift pattern. Operating 24/7.

**Salary**: Negotiable DOE

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manufacturing high quality products using approved processes within a manufacturing-controlled environment.
- Understand and follow the company’s Health & Safety policies.
- Comply with all aspects of the Quality System, adhering to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice ensuring products are manufactured within the defined parameters of the Quality Management System.
- Operation of all processing equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures
- Adjusting machinery as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
- Verifying adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
- Maximise output and efficiency while looking for opportunities to drive improvements.
- Provide timely, detailed, and accurate reports on the status of operations, alerting the supervisor of any issues which may impact on finished product quantities and availabilities.
- Ensure products are produced according to the appropriate Production Control Record to obtain the required quality.
- Understand requirements for operating in and cleaning - ensuring cleaning of equipment and facilities are carried out and recorded in accordance with the relevant procedures.
- Ensure that all required worksheets are always filled out correctly

**Essential Criteria**:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of health & safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to work under instruction from supervisor.
- Motivated to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
- Read and understand written instructions.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic level English and Math Skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident with the ability to use own initiative and manage own workload.
- Experience of completing paperwork to a high standard.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience within PET bottle filling - Blower, Filler, Labelling and Packing machines.
