Our client, a 4 star property located near to Basingstoke, Hampshire are looking for a Duty Manager to join their team at this award winning Hotel.
The hotel is set in acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, providing an amazing venue for many weddings and events. They strive to deliver the highest standards in all areas and won an award for their Weddings last year.
As the Duty Manager you will be a driven, efficient leader who prioritises the guest experience and smooth running of the hotel at all times. You could be overseeing one department, or four, and at the heart of all your decisions will be what is right for theguests, your employees and the business.
Your role will be varied and ever-evolving, and you will guide your team through tasks including, and not limited to, the following:
*Ensuring the Reception desk is manned and guests are always treated with prompt attention and care
*Overseeing and assisting with smooth breakfast, lunch and dinner services
*Assisting with weddings, events and conferences being held
*Ensuring the bar runs smoothly, helping where necessary
*Helping the Housekeeping team to deliver the required standards of cleanliness and safety where necessary
*Being responsible for accurate banking, adhering to Health & Safety regulations and reporting any and all issues to the General Manager
As the Duty Manager you should have previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. Due to the job requiring occasional bar work, applicants must be of the legal age to serve alcohol.
This Duty Manager role is full-time, 5 days out of 7 per week.
