Highways Business Analyst
We are currently working with large Public Sector organisation in Derbyshire who require the interim assistance of a Programme Manager and a Business Analyst to assist their Highways programme.

Over the next 18 months, the organisation’s Highways Service is transforming it’s operating model with the objective of significantly increasing its efficiency, effectiveness and improving the quality of service provided to their customers.

This is a significant programme of change, involving a team of individuals with specific skills and experience in change management to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.

Role Requirements
- Provide business analysis services to support the successful design and delivery of the new Derbyshire Highways
- work closely with the existing service to gain an in-depth understanding of the existing operational model of the service
- Support the design of new functional specifications including;
- The processes, capabilities, value for money (VfM) and performance framework, inter-dependencies, finances and resources
- Identify any opportunities to address the areas identified in the baseline VfM to improve the service Value for Money (Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness
- Ensure that the approach aligns with the approved Outline Business Case (OBC) and the Commissioning Framework
- Work independently and be self-directed in order to drive and actively contribute to the delivery of the programme
- Highways, Local Authority or construction related, experience
- Strong MS office skills including Microsoft Visio

**Start: 24th October**

**Rate: £60 per hour (Outside IR35)**

**Duration: 3-6 months**

**The role will be based in Matlock but with the opportunity to work from home
