Are you a motivated, energetic, experienced Business Analyst, who is looking for an exciting new role in a friendly environment within a successful and growing company?
Talk Staff are working with a fantastic client based in Derbyshire who are looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst who will identify business problems and future opportunities, communicating this complex information in clear and concise languageto relevant stakeholders. Identifying and agreeing solutions to improve processes and systems, and managing these from inception, through delivery and into implementation.
**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:
- Previous experience in Business Analysis or Quality Assurance ideally within tourism or retail
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and success criteria
- Knowledge of test plan creation, execution, and issue management
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Experience in working as part of a project management and delivery team
- Stakeholder management
- BPMN process documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
- Data analysis and visualization
- Experience writing SQL queries (preferable)
- Demonstrated project-management (preferable)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferable)
- Good understanding of information technology and business concepts
- Familiarity with general business functions
- Knowledge of concepts of storing and extracting data
**Within this position, you’ll also be**:
- Capturing and articulating high-level business needs
- Contributing to project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements
- Eliciting and documenting detailed requirements and success criteria with stakeholders
- Chairing workshops for mapping as-is and to-be processes, and document and maintain system and business processes
- Collaborate with matrix project teams to agree and validate solutions, and understand and communicate interdependencies
- Support of UAT definition, escalations and resolutions
- Support the implementation of new platforms and changes, contribute to team effort to accomplish related results as needed
- Perform demos and handover training, and work with functional groups to prepare user documentation, help desk support and training materials
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; and recommending actions.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
**Salary & Working Hours**
Salary is up to £40,000 dependent on experience
Working hours are full time - Monday - Friday
