**Job Title**: Health Advisor Cook and Eat

**Location**: Hounslow

**Hours**: 7.5 hours/ week

**Reporting To**: Health Improvement Manager Hounslow contract

**Key Relationships**: Clients, Practitioners, Team colleagues, Alliance colleagues, stakeholders.

**The Role**:
The post holder will work within the Health and wellbeing service, to deliver group education sessions as part of healthy eating programmes and run cooking sessions throughout the London Borough of Hounslow. The post holder will be required to deliver workshops, talks, and outreach promotional events to a variety of audiences in order to promote Healthy Hounslow services

**Key responsibilities: -**
- Support clients to make lifestyle changes to benefit their health.
- Ensure that exceptional level of customer care is maintained through the delivery of a quality service with a strong focus on customer service.
- Support the achievement of all outcomes and outputs related to the cook and eat element of the service are achieved on an annual basis.
- To take lead on the cook and eat programme for adults and oversee the delivery part of the service.
- To keep up to date with public health campaigns and provide blogs, recipes, cooking videos and nutritional information for the digital element of the service
- Help clients to develop a self-care approachand undertake followed-up post programme.
- Follow the customer care pathway to support.
- clients to effectively and efficiently access the services that meet their health needs.
- Provide information and advice on how to access services and routine health promotion advice.
- Follow the service protocols to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
