**Purpose Statement**

We are a well-established and respectable Yorkshire business who is looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join our fast-growing business. You will be working in a friendly, vibrant, high energy and fast paced office in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

**Desirable Attributes**
- CIPD Level 3 Preferred

- Good IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package

**Accountabilities**
- Form and maintain employee records to ensure up to date.
- Update the Bradford factor to monitor absence ensuring absence paperwork is completed by line managers.
- Prepare and amend HR documents including employment contracts, letters, and policies.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies.
- Develop job descriptions and advertise roles online using platforms such as Indeed.
- Process new starters, including preparing offer documentation and updating relevant databases.
- Coordinate the induction of new starters and monitor the six month induction process.
- Process leavers, including preparing relevant documentation and updating systems accordingly.
- Carry out regular driving license and car insurance checks.
- Ensure one to ones are being done regularly between line managers and staff.
- Identify training needs and arrange appropriate and relevant training.
- Co-ordinate company team-building, social and charity events.
- Report regularly on HR metrics such as employee turnover.
- Book hotels for employees.
- Assist with the administration in grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- Create and distribute a monthly staff newsletter and keep the notice board up to date
- Contribute to overall team effort.
- Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews and monthly one to ones.
- Adhere to the company and department standards, policies, and procedures
- Adhere to the policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role and to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company.
- Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to our work and comply with these. Actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment.
**Salary is £20,000 - £22,000 Pro Rata.**
