**Care Home Operational/Ancillary Support Manager - Elderly Care**

**£30,000 - £35,000pa + benefits**

This organisation operate nursing and residential care homes across 30+ sites in London & the South East. Its a family owned organisation that prides themselves on person centred, exceptional clinical, residential and dementia care.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Care Manager to join the team at their service in South East London, Peckham, as the Support Manager, leading on operations and business, within the home which is rated as Good by CQC.

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager, perhaps a Care Manager/Team Leader as examples as the role involves taking the accountability for leading the ancillary teams, which incorporates cleaning, laundry and catering including the restoring ofthe team. The role also involves the initial meeting of prospective family's and residents, and seeing them through to residing into the home

Your experience of working within a care home environment previously will ensure you have experience of CQC Regulations as well as supervisory experience.

**Essentials**
- You MUST have experience as a Team Leader or Senior Care Assistant or similar role within a care home environment
- You will have experience of dealing with and maximising on enquiries into the home
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An ability to manage your own workload with experience and understanding of working to budgets

Ultimately this role is to provide a strong support in all areas of the day to day business within a busy residential care setting. This role works in a support function to the Home and Deputy Manager ensuring that the facilities, external and internal relationshipsand ancillary and care staff teams are working effectively and within budgetary constraints.
