I am working with a vastly growing Data company in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a **Senior Data Project Manager / Delivery Manager.**

The company:
They are a thriving data company, focused on delivering data solutions to a variety of clients (largely UK based). The business only started a few years ago however they have grown to around 50 employees now, with plans to get to 250 in the next 3 years.They are adding to the delivery team due to winning a number of new clients and business - I have already helped them find a new person starting in the next few months.

The company have recently been acquired by a much larger business and have been given great financial backing. They are however still operating as an independent business, and growing through revenue and not investment.

The role would ideally look to have someone in the Edinburgh office two days a week, but there is some negotiation on this. There may also be a small amount of travel too (fairly mínimal).

The role:
This is a position for a Senor Delivery Manager, Project Manager or Data Consultant who can demonstrate strong data knowledge whether it be in Data Analytics, Data Science or some form of general analytics. You will be running data projects from inceptionto completion and will be part of the full-lifecycle management. The majority of projects will be in Agile, but there may be some Waterfall crossover (as normal). There are plenty of projects to get stuck into and you will be working alongside both the technicalteams as well as clients.

Key elements of role:
**Leading multifunctional delivery teams

**Responsible for the day-to-day project management and ensuring that work is completed at a high quality and on time

**Provide regular project updates and reports to clients

**Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

**Identify any new opportunities or areas for growth of a client engagement

Your background:
**Strong data delivery experience and project management

**Experience in leading and managing full-lifecycle data projects

**Ideally a good understanding of Agile processes

**A solid understanding in Data Science or Data Analytics or Data Engineering or Statistics or Data Platforms (or even data reporting/dashboards)

**As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for risk management and strategy and timelines, commitments to customers as well as time management of the technical teams

**Experience in making sure releases are out on time and supporting custom builds, making sure they are on time and on budget
