Our client is a high-growing professional services firm who are looking to add an outgoing and technically strong accounting professional as their Financial Controller. They operate out of 10+ office locations globally and operate in a buzzing marketplace

This role will require a balance between technical and commercial skill and will look after a small finance team. The position will report into a CFO but allow constant partnering & communication with other areas of the business.

**Responsibilities include**:
**Financial reporting**:

- Preparation of a multi-currency Group consolidation
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Key point with external auditors
- Oversight and preparation of audit documentation

**Group Transformation**:

- Work with Group CFO to redesign and streamline Group consolidation processes
- Support Group CFO on current and planned transformation projects
- Play an active role in the Group’s project to upgrade all finance systems, working alongside full time project manager and external consultants

**Month end reporting**:

- Work with local finance teams across Europe, USA and Asia to submit results
- Assist in continually improving reporting to the board and stakeholders
- Preparation of monthly consolidation and completeness checks
- Preparation and analysis of balance sheet and the cash flow statement
- Intercompany balance checks and compliance reviews

**Other responsibilities**:

- Treasury management - oversee key banking relationships
- Tax and VAT management
- Working with the Group CFO and the local teams to implement stronger financial controls and policies
- Ad hoc projects supporting the Board and its sub committees

**Key requirements for the role**:

- Qualified accountant
- Industry experience in a multi-currency group consolidation environment
- Good technical knowledge
- Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills
- Strong work ethic, organisational skills and attention to detail
