**HR ADVISOR**

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working location Birmingham or Leeds 1-2 per week in office

**Summary of the role**:
The team is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the firm's People Strategy and comprises 13 individuals in total. The role will be directly managed by one of the HR Business Partners but will work closely with all members of the department, includingthe Head of HR, on a day to day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor to develop their generalist skills in a highly reputable, forward thinking HR team. Not only will you be the first point of contact on a broad range of matters, you will have an opportunity to own and alsowork with various members of the HR team on strategic projects, and we will be looking to you for fresh ideas.

**Duties**:
Working closely with the relevant HR Business Partners and Recruitment team to assist in all aspects of the firm's graduate recruitment and development cycle including:

- Employee Relations
- Graduate recruitment and trainee seat rotation
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Performance management
- Absence & family leave management
- Leavers management
- HR policies, procedures and systems
- Best Practice and risk
- Employee engagement

**Experience required**:

- Generalist HR and/or early careers experience, ideally within Professional Services;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to enthuse, engage and influence at an appropriate level
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to get on with a wide range of people at all levels;
- Experience of conducting recruitment interviews;
- A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and recognised HR best practice;
- IT skills that include a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as experience of or capacity to learn about the use of an HR database;
- And CIPD, part CIPD or equivalent qualification is a nice to have, we provide a wide range of training opportunities
