**The Opportunity: HR Apprentice**
At HealthTrust Europe (HTE), we have an exciting opportunity for a HR Apprentice to join our thriving organisation. At HTE you can make a difference within your role, take pride in your work and be part of a team that is taking the company into a new and exciting era.
As a HR Apprentice you will support the HR Team in relation to all administrative tasks to support in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR and learning & development service to all functions within HealthTrust Europe.

Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, we offer solutions to manage spend effectively and improve performance, working with both public and private healthcare and non-healthcare providers to optimise the use of products and services to identify cost saving opportunities and best value.

**As HR Apprentice you will**:
- Administers starter / probation / leaver processes including producing related correspondence, contracts of employment and any other documentation
- Updates records within the various HR systems
- Attends informal/formal meetings and hearings as requested by the HR Manager, ensuring that all arrangements are completed efficiently and effectively. Takes and transcribes accurate notes at meetings as required
- Prepares letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. promotion, end of probation, salary changes, flexible working, acknowledgement of resignation.
- Prepares all references, employment and tenancy
- Schedule inductions for new starters, including setting up desks and new starter check-ins for the HR Coordinator
- Keep the L&D training tracker updated
- Supporting the Talent Development Manager with setting up training, including sign-in sheets and evaluation forms
**Apprentice Eligibility**:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be a permanent resident of England and have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Not be taking part in part or full-time education.
- Must not hold a prior qualification in the same field of study at the same level or higher.
**Apprenticeship Qualification: HR Support Level 3**
Typically, this learning programme will take 12-18 months.
This apprenticeship learning programme has been designed to help professionals form in-depth knowledge of the industry and business environment in which they work and will include topics such as:
- The HR function
- Developing yourself as an HR professional
- HR legislation and managing data
- Managing stakeholders and solving problems
- Process improvement
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & A**BILITIES**
- Willingness to enrol in a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced HR function.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
- Proactive and confident in liaising with people at all levels and working as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
