As a Business Support Assistant, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting the Performance Director and their Personal Assistant to provide and coordinate administrative services.

The post holder is required to support senior managers and staff across the East of England Sector/Area.

Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication.

This is a part time, temporary post to increase team capacity while a member of the team is on secondment.

The role is predominantly based from home, with some travel required to East of England offices (4-12 times a year).

Support the Performance Director and their Personal Assistant to provide and coordinate administrative services, including;

Organise travel arrangements, booking rail and accommodation in accordance with policy. Develop and maintain effective electronic filing systems ensuring information is secure and accessible to other team members.

Ensure all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in an appropriate and timely manner.

The seven integrated regions of our joint enterprise will work with local systems to support and improve how care is provided to patients and communities. These regions will be supported by the corporate centre providing expertise and developing policy. The focus will be on guiding and managing the delivery of services through local integrated health systems, sustainability and transformation partnerships, and devolution areas.
- Preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up actions as required and ensuring the Performance Director has the correct paper work.
- Managing the Performance Directors diary, including arranging and changing appointments, prioritising these as appropriate.
- Organising and planning events as directed, providing all necessary supporting in local materials.
- Provide support to the Performance senior team including travel arrangements, organising meetings, booking rooms, and ensuring papers are ready and distributed for meeting.
- Organise travel arrangements for the Performance Director, booking rail and accommodation in accordance with policy.
- Create databases and spreadsheets. Flexible approach to work in line with the needs of the business.
- Act as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from a wide range of stakeholders.
- Undertake initial analysis of non-complex information, interpreting and presenting data to highlight issues, risks in support of decision making.
- Provide and receive complex information which may contain contentious and sensitive information.
- Be the key point of contact for enquiries and advice.
- Handle routine correspondence and draft routine responses, ensuring that it is accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- Provide cross cover for colleagues as required.
- Suggest amendments and/or new processes to support the effective running of the service.
