**Job Purpose**
To lead and develop the compliance and admin team with overall responsibility for the administration, data integrity and compliance for all our funding streams in line with our contracts and government funding rules. The Admin and Compliance Lead will bethe key in fulfilling the requirements of our contracts for prime providers, where we are a subcontractor and for making sure we have our own robust internal processes, audits and checks in place across our direct provision.
Performance will be measured against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) covering retention, progress, timely reviews, successful completion, and progressions.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee independent audits of our data and compliance and ensure remedial action is implemented where required.
- Manage the administration across all funding streams for attendance, feedback, and compliance.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for the effective management of the funding streams, as required by other managers.
- Ensure we uphold compliance and meet the expectations of lead providers where provision of subcontracted.
- Where we are the Lead provider ensure we have out own robust processes, paperwork, checks and measure in place to uphold compliance across our funding streams.
- Complete the final funding return each month to the ESFA without errors and warnings or Dlocks.
- Review PDSAT and FRM reports and identify errors, potential risks and discrepancies and ensure they are rectified by the team.
- Oversee the processing and monitoring of data changes such as BIL, withdrawals, completions etc
- Provide detailed management information on the performance of contracts to the senior team regularly.
- Carry out reconciliation monthly between PICs and ESFA (Education Skills Funding Agency) reports.
- Create and implement a robust audit plan across our funding streams which is reviewed on an annual basis.
- Responsibility to recruit, develop and manage the performance of staff member in the Admin and Compliance Team
- Develop, implement and monitor KPIs in area of responsibility. Inspire, lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve all key performance indicators.
- Overseeing the awarding body registrations and exams process with overall responsibility for ensuring they are run and managed effectively and smoothly meeting JCQ guidelines.
- Manage the administration and coordination of the EPA Process.
- Manage the administration and accuracy of e-portfolios.
- Implement, review, and embed all SOPs relevant to area of responsibility.
- Ensure the effective running of the office(s) and training centre (s) including resources for training, health, and safety which may involve travelling where required between centres.
- Produce accurate and timely reports to the Directors on the team’s performance
**Essential**
- Experience of working within Education Sector, with 2+ years within a data and compliance role
- Experience in leading and administrative team
- Knowledge of using MIS systems, including reporting, data compliance.
- Knowledge of e-portfolios
- Ability to produce accurate, timely reports.
- Ability to develop and maintain information systems and records to enable statistical analysis and maintain accurate and precise records.
- Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality of information.
- Excellent IT skills using a range of IT packages, especially excel and databases to collate and interpret data.
- Understanding of ESFA compliance in relation to Apprenticeships and their respective funding rules, ILR and qualification requirements
**SALARY AND BENEFITS.**
- £23,000 to £29,000 per annum
