Job Summary:
The duties of a CNC Turner/Machinist include setting and operating Doosan Puma DNT2600M lathes among others.

Details are below:

- To set and operate CNC lathes, Fanuc controls preferred
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring conformity.
- Working efficiently, maintaining a clean work area, and minimizing waste.
- Setting up tools, jigs, and fixtures correctly and within company standards.
- Setting machine and loading it with the correct cutting tools.
- Positioning part ready for working, including material supplied.
- Working hours will vary depending on delivery commitments

**Requirements**:

- Experience of Doosan Puma DNT2600M lathe
- A very good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining a range of materials to tight tolerances.
- Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
- Flexible working hours to suit you

Starting salary from £18 per hour, commensurate with experience. Flexible working hours can be negotiated.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
