Shifts:2 days, 2 nights then 4 off shift pattern
Hours per week:Average 39-hour week, plus occasional paid overtime

Position Summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Stores Operative for our Depot in Leeds, to commence work with immediate effect
This is an excellent career opportunity to work within a successful Train Maintenance Depot. The Stores Team are a small but succinct team and are well established. They are an important and intrinsic part of the success of the Depot
Person Profile/Experience:
An experienced Stores or Warehousing Operative, you will be able to show previous capability in working as an important Team Member but also be able to show that you are not shy when it comes to working alone and under your own direction. You will be Healthand Safety conscious and willing to follow direction/instruction
An important part of the role is ensuring that all relevant paperwork for parts and materials availability is correctly completed on time and to required company standards. For this you will be required to input data on to the Companies Materials ManagementSystems
You will be physically fit and healthy, you will be required to undertake a NWR related medical and drugs & alcohol test plus CRB check which must be passed before any offer can be made. You will have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoorswhere required. You will ideally have a full (clean) driving license and be flexible enough to travel to other local sites in the region from time to time
Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol
Qualifications:
A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role
Counter balance FLT license/experience
Be able/prepared to work the shift pattern
