The role
- Full time role
- Working as a Learning Mentor and predominantly supporting children who have been removed from lessons due to disruptive behaviour
- Managing any challenging behaviour and supporting children with the aim of them re-entering mainstream lessons
- Providing curriculum support to children that are struggling academically
You
- Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school
- Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent (not essential)
- Will have previously supported children who display challenging behaviour in a mainstream or special needs setting including PRU’s or an alternative provision
- Will have a resilient character
- Will be able to build rapport easily
- Will be caring and compassionate
