Timetabling and Systems Manager

Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a Timetabling and Systems Manager, to manage, develop and improve student systems relating to timetabling in line with the universities policies, KPIs andstrategic requirements. This post is looking to start as soon as possible, and run for approximately 5-6 months, on a temporary full-time basis, which will be hybrid working of 2-3 days onsite and the rest remote.
As the organisation's Timetabling and Systems Manager, the main focus of the role during this interim period is the planning and preparation of the timetables for the September term, which is important as it's their main enrolment period. You will ensurethe data held in the timetabling system is accurate, robust and complete, and available to interested parties as required. Manage the timetable service and work with colleagues to proactively and accurately maintain and update the timetable system to reflectall teaching events and rescheduled classes.
To be successful, you will have proven professional timetabling experience at a managerial level, ideally from within a higher education environment as well as demonstrable knowledge of the current issues surrounding timetabling and attendance within highereducation. This post will also be suitable for a senior timetabling officer/advisor looking to take a step up in their career. In addition, you will have the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations accordingly. Familiarityand previous experience using timetabling software is essential, along with previous experience in producing complex timetables and or logistic schedules, together with strong project management skills is essential to this post.
