The role is primarily focussed on the leadership, test strategy and day-to-day leadership of a small team of QA Testers working to test and deliver solutions based on.Net & Java platforms with additional Javascript technologies employed at the front-end.
The Test Team Lead / Senior QA Tester will allocate work load and work with the team to improve testing processes implementing and continue to define the Test Team Roadmap. There will be some low level and more high level functional testing involving writingtest cases and scripts for manual tests You will use Test Case Management Software and will play a role in specifying the best tools for each project. You will work towards moving the team into an Automated Testing framework environment.
Within a leadership capacity you will work in a stakeholder facing capacity facing off to technical and release management teams and lead both internal teams and external 3rd party onshore/offshore vendor teams. You will understand Agile/Scrum and know howto structure test teams to support these methodologies.
We are searching for a Senior Tester / Lead Tester / Test Manager / QA Manager or similar who can demonstrate experience gained within a similar capacity where you will have led a team of Testers / QA Analysts and worked in a dual leadership/hands-on technicalcapacity where required. Ideally, this work will have had some exposure to testing of customer facing web systems including testing of payment gateway technology.
You will have worked as a Senior Tester in a previous capacity and be skilled in manual testing using a range of tools and Test Case Management software. Additionally, you may have some exposure to Automated Testing and be keen to implement some of these proceduresand frameworks within the environment. You will have been working ideally in either an Insurance, Reinsurance Financial Services company and/or Fintech, Media or related business environment. We are however able to consider experience from a wide variety ofindustries. Excellent leadership and communication skills are prerequisite.
