Service Advisor

This service advisor role is for Hammond Ford.

We are a family business who have been trading since 1962. Our Ford dealership is our longest standing manufacturer relationship. We are also dealers for Nissan, MG, Isuzu and Iveco. Our aftersales departments are key to supporting our sales teams and our entire group. We have always prided ourselves on going the extra mile for our customers.

Some key features within the role:

- Delivering exceptional customer service. Welcoming customers and explaining the services they have booked for. Providing a level of customer service which creates ‘memorable experiences’ through meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Listening and documenting customers’ car problems and processing the information correctly onto the dealer management system
- Answering questions about service outcomes (after consulting with the direct manager or team member)
- Liaising with sales and parts departments to schedule car check-ups and service appointments
- Advising customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
- Where applicable liaise with the workshop controller to give an idea of timescales and costs
- Verifying if the cars brought to the dealership have insurance coverage and driving licence requirements.

What are we looking for?
- Experience would be great, but full training would be given in this role which allows for fantastic personal growth and knowledge.
- Well presented with a smart appearance.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
- An enthusiasm for excellent customer service.
- To have good communication and organisational skills
- A keen eye for attention and detail.
- The ability to work well in a team, providing support in all areas and inspiring confidence.
- Computer literacy, we operate using a DMS and varying other supporting programmes to transmit jobs for authorisation, payment etc.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00 - 18.00, Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rotation (08.00 to 12.00)
