**WHO ARE KFC?**
Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky in 1938. He started with one restaurant, 11 herbs and spices, and an idea. From there our incredible brand and product grew to what it is today.
KFC first came to the UK in 1965 with our first restaurant in Preston, Lancashire. Today we are a billion-pound business with over 1000 restaurants run by our 28,000 restaurant team members. Our headquarters are based at the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking, Surrey - a 24-minute train from Waterloo. Of the c.1000 restaurants in the UK, 95% are owned and operated by 34 franchise partners; the remaining 5% are company owned and run.

**MORE ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, positive thinking individual with a passion to learn to join our People & Culture (P&C) team as a P&C Advisor.
As an integral part of the team, you’ll be an ambassador for our heart led culture through your day-to-day people touchpoints across all stakeholders. Our people are our most important asset and with your approachable and warm nature you’ll play a big part in their employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
Working closely with the P&C Business Partners, you’ll utilise your high attention to detail, passion for continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills to bring change and drive efficiencies within the People & Culture space, establishing yourself as key point of call for all first line P&C queries.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
**Employee Life Cycle**
- Knowledge & understanding of all of pre-employment checks; ability to complete right to work checks in line with statutory requirements as well as ensuring references and verification checks are carried out and recorded according to internal policies and procedures.
- Support with Tier 2 Visa sponsorship and ensure the company is compliant with the Home Office’s sponsorship guidance to fulfil the duties as a sponsor.
- Produce contracts/offers of employment, enabling a seamless transition into the brand, and providing relevant documentation for contract adjustments where required, creating a world class onboarding/offboarding experience.
- Ensure documents produced have been checked and validated for quality.
- Support the wider P&C team to review and update central P&C documentation (e.g., letter and contract templates) in line with legislative changes and best practice.
- Strengthen our induction, recognition and retention activities and support associated on projects.
- Assisting employees with MyKFC, accessing payslips, booking holiday etc.
- Ensure the RSC and Restaurant are connected by arranging for every new starter to work in restaurant for a week as part of their induction.
- Partnering with the business and Business Partners to provide advice to employees and managers on people topics and executing lifecycle process tasks both effectively and efficiently.
