Woking, United Kingdom KFC UK & I - People & Culture Full time

WHO ARE KFC?

Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky in 1938. He started with one store, 11 herbs and spices, and an idea. From there our incredible brand and product grew to what it is today.

KFC first came to the UK in 1965 with our first restaurant in Preston, Lancashire. Today we are a billion-pound business with over 900 restaurants run by our 28,000 restaurant team members. Our headquarters are based at the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking, Surrey - a 24-minute train from Waterloo. Of the c.950 restaurants in the UK, 900 of our restaurants are owned and operated by 40 franchise partners; the remaining 50 are company owned and run.

We are proud to have received a number of accolades in recognition of our commitment to our employees, including being named as Britain’s Top Employer three years running. To work for KFC is to be part of one big family.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

The Learning Experience & Design (LED) team is part of KFC’s People and Culture team and they are responsible for all core restaurant training in the UK & Ireland. Through relevant, easy and distinctive structured programmes designed by the LED team, our restaurant teams are set up for success - from someone breading chicken for the first time, in their first job to an Area Coach managing the profit and loss of a multi-million pound region.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Content Creation: Using a blended approach, develop and curate high-quality learning materials for KFC’s core curriculum (from Team Member to Area Coach level), including e-learning modules, videos, presentations and written content, that effectively communicate training objectives, engage learners and aligns with KFCs People Promise.

Content Adaptation: Continuously update and enhance existing training materials to ensure they remain current, future-facing, and easily updatable, meeting the evolving needs of our learners.

Visual and Multimedia Elements: Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, and simulations to make the learning content visually appealing and engaging for all.

Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and social media channels, and best practices to explore innovative and dynamic ways to deliver and enhance learning content, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, relevance and adaptability.

Analyse: Utilising our reporting system for data analysis and interpretation, generate precise and enlightening reports that gauge compliance and drive strategic decision-making through valuable insights.
