Medical Receptionist/administrator

Alba Medical Group is based across 3 Health board areas including NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Forth Valley and Lanarkshire providing General Medical Services to circa 77,000 patients. We aim to help communities to live health and well by providing high quality, innovative and sustainable primary care services delivered by motivated and engaged teams.
As first point of contact for our patients, healthcare professional colleagues and other stakeholders, either in person or by telephone, we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills.
The role is varied and duties will include dealing with telephone enquiries, making appointments, processing prescription requests, working in conjunction with our workflow optimisation team to manage actions from incoming mail and assisting patients to ensure they are able to access the right care at the right place at the right time. You will work as part of a local team with a peer support network across our other sites.
Applicants must have the ability to adapt and multi skill in a very busy environment with ever changing priorities. Experience of working within General Practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
