Two one-year fixed term, full time Band 4 Psychology Assistant posts. These will support an NHS-E funded pilot, to test the effectiveness of community based Low Intensity Psychological Skills Training groups in avoiding hospital admissions and potentially shortening lengths of inpatient stays. Successful applicants will be supervised and line-managed by qualified psychological practitioners.
Depending on first-year outcomes, the pilot may be extended, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Delivery of group interventions and other Assistant roles, such as data collection, etc, in keeping with the AFC Banding and the pilot requirements.
