At Gedling Leisure we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable exercise experiences that get positive results. We are looking for a hardworking, passionate, and motivated fitness advisor to join our team at Redhill Leisure Centre to inspire the local community to enjoy an active lifestyle.

We encourage our teams to be actively involved in designing our products and ways of working, whether this is in the gyms or across the facilities. You’ll be part of a dedicated fitness team embracing change and innovation in the fitness industry and tailoring it to our valued members. On a day-to-day basis you will engage with customers to help them get the most from their workouts and give added value for their membership. You will advise and instruct members in the use of gym equipment, undertake personal fitness assessments for members, prepare and deliver fitness training programmes and inductions, carry out site tours for prospective new members and keep a well maintained and clean gym. Successful applicants will cover group exercise classes and support the day-to-day operation of other areas of the leisure centre.

We support our staff and invest in their future by offering training courses and providing professional development opportunities. We also offer opportunities to deliver group exercise sessions and start a personal training business, if desired.

Applicants must hold a recognised gym-based qualification and be willing to work as a part of a varied one week rota, that may include evenings and weekends.
